The Relationship between Code-switching and the Level of Language Proficiency in the Second Language of Saudi Female Students

چکیده
This study investigated the relationship between code-switching and language proficiency. The also attempted to explain how Saudi bilingual female students view in relation proficiency deficiency. A questionnaire an elicited production task were used collect data. sample size of 24 from English department at King Saud University participated questionnaire. In addition, six same taken for purpose carrying out task. collected data was analyzed by using percentages, a content analysis technique, simple frequency count. Findings results indicated that there is correlation type revealed not related level participants. Positive attitudes towards found among Based on results, it could be concluded sign incompetency.
